Yes! Purihold containers are great for meal prep, storing leftovers, snacks, lunches, and everyday food storage.

Our borosiloicate glass is dishwasher safe, however our bamboo lids, and rubber silicone gaskets are NOT dishwasher safe, so you must hand wash the lids, and seals. After washing the bamboo lids, immediately dry the bamboo off. Do NOT allow moisture to accumulate on the bamboo.

Yes, our containers feature a rubber silicone gasket which provides an airtight seal when used appropriately.

To fix this you need to make sure the parts of the glass container where the silicone seal will be touching are completely dry. Greasy surfaces will cause the seal to not properly close because there is not enough friction between the seal and the glass. Even if the glass seems like its dry, it may still be slightly greasy, and that will cause the lid to not properly close. So make sure the glass where the seal will be touching is completely dry, otherwise the lid will just keep popping back up.
